Silver Brazing Alloys:

Weldmaster silver Alloys are premium grade wires alloyed in accordance with AWS A5.8B and conforms to AS 1167.1 where applicable.

Alloy 2% - SBA 2

Is a silver copper and phosphorous alloy for flux free brazing of copper and copper base metals. Not recommended for ferrous metals free flowing.

Alloy 5% - SBA 5

Is a silver, copper, phosphorous alloy for flux free brazing and non- ferrous metals. Particularly suited to electrical work. A medium capillary action for joints not necessarily close fit up.

Alloy 15% SBA 15

Is a silver, copper, phosphorous alloy. Can be used flux free although we recommend weldmaster “Classic Gold” silver brazing flux be used for positive results.This is a high shear strength and a ductile alloy most suited to all copper and copper based metals.

Alloys 45% SBA 45

Is the lowest melting temperature alloy and produces high strength joints and ferrous and non ferrous metals. The general purpose alloy. Used extensively in production brazing, carbon steels, nickles and copper alloys. “The handyman’s savior”.

For positive results use weldmaster “Classic Gold” silver brazing flux.

Bronze Alloys:

Weldmaster bronze alloys are premium quality wires for tradesman or handyman.  All types conform to AWS A5.8/A5.7 and AS1167.1 where applicable

MANGANEZE BRONZE :

This is a general purpose brazing alloy recommended for  steels, malleable and cast irons. Not recommended for use on copper base, bare & flux coated available (Other fluxes - See weldmaster classic gold fluxes)

TOBIN BRONZE:

This is the alloy for brasses, bronzes and low strength brazing of steel. Not recommended for cast or malleable iron. Available in Bare or flux coated.

NICKEL BRONZE:

This is a wear resistant and high strength alloy for producing maximum bond to steels, irons and cast irons.Can be used for building up of worn surfaces such as seats, bearings, gear teeth and shafts.Available in bare and flux coated.
